Mr. Hines has been licensed to practice law since 1979. He spent the first eight years of his career as an Assistant District Attorney with the Dallas County District Attorney's Office in Dallas, Texas in the Trial Division, rising to the position of Felony Court Chief. During his tenure there, Mr. Hines gained outstanding trial experience trying hundreds of cases before the Court and juries. After leaving public service, Mr. Hines concentrated his practice in the areas of Family Law and Probate.

Mr. Hines is a member of the State Bar of Texas and a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Hines is admitted to practice in the Federal Courts of the Northern District of Texas, the Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Hines graduated with Honor in Economics from Austin College in Sherman, Texas and the University of Houston School of Law in Houston, Texas. Mr. Hines is located in the Irving Office.
