A licensed attorney since 1994 and a former prosecutor, Eric J. Davis is our senior attorney and has successfully represented numerous individuals in simple and complex criminal cases. Mr. Davis routinely handles both federal and state court cases. He has extensive experience in criminal law and has tried over 95 jury trials. He has won over 80 percent of the cases he has tried and has successfully defended many types of cases, including multiple murder cases. Jackie Carpenter has been with our office for over five years and has successfully defended numerous cases as well. She has also assisted Mr. Davis during many jury trials. Both lawyers graduated from law school with honors. On most serious cases, our office takes a team approach to the defense. In the last three years, our office has obtained "not guilty" verdicts in two separate murder cases and dismissals of two others. Although we have experienced success conducting jury trials, most criminal cases are resolved by dismissal or plea bargain. Our firm generally seeks dismissal of all charges when possible, prior to going to trial.
