Before Mark went to law school he attended Texas A&M University graduating with high honors and a degree in Business Management.
Mark T. Lassiter also has served the Army faithfully for 10 years. He began his career in the Army at 18 years old as an Airborne Infantryman. There he served as part of the 143rd Long Range Surveillance Team (LRS). This team was designed to parachute in behind enemy lines and radio crucial intelligence back to the front lines, all without being detected. This required countless hours of training and attention to detail because any small mistake could lead to destruction of the entire team. It was here that Mark learned what it means to work under timetables in a stress filled environment. He learned what it takes to get things done and he will put that knowledge to work for you.

While serving as a tank gunner Lassiter was selected to attend Officer Candidate School. This school transformed enlisted soldiers into officers. Lassiter again received honors for his excellent performance throughout his attendance at Officer Candidate School. From there Mark was selected to serve as a member of the JAG Corp due to his legal expertise. After 10 years of faithful service Mark retired from active service.
